Canadian title droughts, quantified

Years since each Canadian major-league franchise's last championship, computed as 2026 minus the sourced last-title year (see each row's Notes for the source of the title list itself). Includes the single most-cited aggregate stat in Canadian sports: the 33-year (and counting) drought since any Canadian NHL franchise last won the Stanley Cup (Montreal Canadiens, 1993) — a genuinely different number from any individual team's drought, shown as its own row. Four franchises (Vancouver Canucks, Ottawa Senators, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, CF Montréal) have never won a major title; their drought is marked N/A rather than a guessed or zero value, since they have no 'last title year' to subtract from. A proposed drought × metro-population 'fan-years' column has been deliberately omitted — see the dataset-wave note in this file for why.
