History & dynasties
The Ron Lancaster/Ken Preston era (1958-1978) missed the playoffs only five times in 20 years and reached five Grey Cup finals, winning in 1966.
Coach Kent Austin ended an 11-year playoff drought and won the 1989 Grey Cup during his 1987-1993 tenure.
Under coach Corey Mace, Saskatchewan finished first in the West Division and won the 112th Grey Cup in his second season, in 2025 — the franchise's most recent title.
Structural notes
- Mosaic Stadium's lower bowl is sunk below grade specifically to blunt prairie wind and cold for late-season games; November playoff games at the venue have hit -24.9°C.
