Montreal Canadiens
With 24 Stanley Cups, Montreal is the most decorated franchise in NHL history, built on two separate multi-Cup dynasties — but 1993 is also the last time ANY Canadian team has won the Cup, a fact that frames every Canadian franchise's modern-era drought.

History & dynasties
Montreal's 1956-to-1960 run of five consecutive Stanley Cups is still the all-time NHL record for consecutive championships by any franchise.
A second dynasty under coach Scotty Bowman delivered four more consecutive Cups from 1976 to 1979.
The Canadiens' 1993 title remains their most recent — and remains the last Stanley Cup won by any Canadian-based NHL team.
