History & dynasties
The Maple Leafs won three consecutive Stanley Cups from 1947 to 1949, the first three-peat of the post-war NHL era.
A second three-peat followed from 1962 to 1964, cementing Toronto as the dominant Original Six franchise of that decade.
Since 1967 the Leafs have not won another Cup — the longest active championship drought of any Original Six team, now 59 years.
